Canon EOS 500 - Camera

Autofocus EF-mount 35mm SLR released by Canon in 1993. It uses a roof mirror instead of a standard prism to reduce weight. The camera pre-winds the entire roll when the film is inserted to prevent shots from being ruined if the back is opened accidentally. Also known as the EOS Kiss (JP) and EOS Rebel XS (NA). The original price (59,000 Yen) is equivalent to ~425 Euro in 2022. Plastic body available in black.
